A library, not a feed
YOUR VOICE exists for one thing: breakup and heartbreak stories, written by people who would rather not be known. There is no account to make, no profile to fill, no follower count, no likes, no comments, no chat. You read, or you write. That is the whole site.
What we never ask for
- Your name, your email, your phone number.
- A username or a password — there is nothing to log into.
- Anything that could point back to you later.
The submission form has two fields and a category. Nothing else is stored with your story except the date it arrived.
A person reads everything
Nothing is published automatically. Every story sits in a queue until a moderator opens it, reads it and decides. Most stories are approved. Some are not, and those are never shown to anyone.
What gets rejected
- Anything with a link, a website address, an email or a phone number.
- Real names of private people, or details that identify someone.
- Advertising, self-promotion, or a story written to sell something.
- Threats, abuse, or content that attacks a person or a group.
- HTML, code or anything pasted to test the site rather than to tell a story.
Once it is up
Approved stories stay public and anonymous. Because nothing links a story to you, we cannot find yours later to edit or remove it on request — so write it as the version you are willing to leave behind. A moderator can still take any story down.
If you are not okay
This site holds stories. It is not counselling and it is not a crisis service. If the pain is heavier than a story can carry, talk to someone you trust, or to a professional in your country who does this work.
